It's been a little over 6 months since my micro-discectomy + stem cell surgery with Dr. Melikian. The surgery with Dr. M was the best decision I have made. I was in extreme pain with L5-S1 herniation + sciatica, to the point where I couldn't sit, stand or walk much. I saw a few doctors for consultations and Dr. Melikian was by far the gentlest, most patient, and straightforward. He took his time with me and did an amazing job explaining everything, answering questions, and ultimately, on surgery day, making it all seem easy. I haven't looked back. Great doctor!

I recently had lower back surgery performed by Dr. Melikian and I am beyond grateful for the incredible care and skill him and his team demonstrated. Dr Rojeh is the kind of surgeon you dream about, but don’t think exists in real life. Oh yes, he does. In all corridors of hospitals they whisper about how incredible he is, say his name and some doctor will know about him, adding something about his stellar reputation among doctors.So how do I summarize the perfect surgeon in a few lines? It’s hard, I try. He will deliberate surgery with you, based on your symptoms and scans. He will listen carefully to you, he is conservative, and to him, surgery is only one of many options. He will advise you as though you were a family member, and surgery is not always his advise (I have family members see him too). He doesn’t want surgery for his patients, he wants what’s best for them.He has moved mountains for me to get me into surgery when it was clear it was necessary. He got me into surgery within 2 days - calls my cell to see how I am - visited the hospital I was in even though it wasn’t in his already packed schedule. His beside manner is impeccable - he is a caring doctor who will take time with you. Best thing? His surgical skills are unparalleled. This is my second surgery with him, I cannot have asked for better outcomes.I write this review because I know spine surgery is very scary and it’s so hard to know who to trust, I attached a photo to show I am a real person and that I sincerely recommend Dr R. This kind of thoughtful care is a rarity.Additionally, a staff member who wasn't part of my dedicated team checked in on me to ensure I was comfortable, which was a lovely touch.
